Christopher Robert Evans, born 13 June 1981, is an American actor. He began his acting career playing roles in television shows such as Opposite sex in 2000. He gained recognition for his role as the Human Torch, the Marvel Comics superhero in Fantastic Four (2007) and Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer (2008). Evans is also seen in film adaptations based on comic books, such as TMNT (2007) Scott Pilgrim against. the World (2009) Snowpiercer (2003). Evans' portrayal as Steve Rogers/Captain America in the Marvel Cinematic Universe films Captain America: The First Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2014 and 2015), Captain America: Civil War (2016) and Avengers: Infinity War (2018) as well as Endgame 2019 brought him greater recognition. He was able to become one of the highest paid actors on the planet thanks to his involvement in the Marvel series.
